The proposals will now be evaluated by the Program Committee and on July 29 TICAL will notify and publish the authors, young entrepreneurs and interinstitutional projects that will receive the organization's support to attend the Conference.
During the period in which the three calls were open (March 14 to June 30, 2016) TICAL received a total of 163 proposals from actors involved with the management of Information and Communication Technologies in universities and research institutions from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and other countries.
The papers are related to the thematic areas defined for the 2016 edition of TICAL, namely Management and Governance of ICT, Education, Extension, Management, Infrastructure, Research and Security.
As in previous editions, this year RedCLARA will pay the airfares of the authors, young entrepreuners and projects (one for each selected initiative *) whose work is chosen to be part of TICAL2016 program.
* In case that a paper, project or initiative has more than one author, they should choose a representative to receive the benefit; it’s responsibility of the selected to cover registration and stay costs (food, lodging and local transportation)
